WE RECORDED SOME SHIT.

Here’s what we released to an unsuspecting world. Or our friends. Maybe our mum’s. They were recorded, regardless. Here’s proof. In order naturally.

UN-PASTURIZED (1996)

Un-Pasturized (1996)

Oh man, this was recorded on a cassette tape 8-track in our rehearsal space at the time called the Lynnwood House. We did this back in 1996 with Dave Shaw, our first drummer. I’m not sure it was actually live or if we just put that there as an excuse of how rough it sounded.

SLOUCH (1997)

Slouch (1997)

We put this out in 1997. Thorns and Postcard were recorded at Roan Sound. I think Nightlife was done with Andy Smith at Trebas in 1996 before The Negative Bastard was drumming for us. We used a session drummer for that recording. We don’t remember his name now. Sorry man.

DON’T STAND BY DICK (1999)

Don't Stand By Dick (1999)

This was our first album. It was recorded in winter 1998 but it took us until spring of 1999 to afford to release it. It was recorded on a 16-track Tascam half-inch machine by Rick Salt at Island Pacific Sound in Nanaimo, BC. It’s been sold out since late 2001 or early 2002.

APPETITE FOR DYSFUNCTION (1999)

Appetite for Dysfunction (1999)

When we were on our first tour we met Mike Plume. He introduced us to his European booking agent. It was suggested by the agent that we do a semi-acoustic tour to make it easier for him to book. We recorded live at the Queen’s in Nanaimo, BC and made 5 song promo CDs. We then made a full-length album of 17 songs and released 50 copies to cover all the costs. It’s been sold out since 1999.

15 SMILES TO THE GAL (2002/2003)

15 Smiles to the Gal (2002/2003)

This was our sophomore album. We spent 7 weeks in Island Pacific Sound tracking, mixing, and mastering 15 Smiles. We knew it had to be better than Don’t Stand By Dick, which had done very well for us. This album was re-released in 2003 when we signed a deal with Cordova Bay Records. The 2003 version was remixed and CBR also added a brand new song we had recently demoed called Plastic & Pills.
